How Does It Work?
​Invisalign® is a tooth straightening treatment that involves wearing custom-made, removable invisible aligners designed to progressively shift your teeth into alignment. Invisalign® aligners are comfortable and easy to use because they’re removable and transparent.
Step 1
Invisalign® treatment starts with a consultation for $130. When you visit Cosmo Dental Centre, one of our dentists will evaluate your smile and then map out a precise, customized digital treatment plan that showcases the step-by-step transformation of your smile. This includes a full set of digital photographs, oral scans and a digital simulation of how this procedure will improve your smile. Should you chose Comos Dental Centre for your Invisalign® treatment, your initial consultation fee will be applied to your plan.

At Cosmo Dental Centre, we use a digital Itero scan impression of your teeth to show you a simulation of your corrected smile and teeth positions after using various Invisalign® aligner therapy methods even before you start treatment, so you can visualize what you can achieve using Invisalign® treatment even before you decide on starting treatment.
Step 2
Once you approve your plan, your unique aligners will be created. The number of aligners you need depends on the complexity of your case. For example, a mild amount of movement may only require five to seven aligner trays, moderate crowding or spacing could require 14 to 26 Invisalign® aligners and severe spacing or crowding could require upwards of 26.

You must wear each set of invisible aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, changing to a new set of aligners every one to two weeks. The dentist will schedule face-to-face check-ups every four to six weeks to ensure your Invisalign® treatment is progressing as planned and provide the next batch of aligner trays.
Step 3
At Cosmo Dental Centre, we recommend that anyone who has completed Invisalign® treatment use a retainer to prevent their teeth from gradually shifting back toward their initial position.
